Free window tint tools
Three calculators we built for our own shop work, opened up for everyone. No login, no email, no trial — they run entirely in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. Bookmark them, send them to your installers, use them on a phone in the bay.
Every number is yours to edit. Where a tool ships a default — square footage per window, film cost per square foot, factory glass VLT — it is a starting point for a working shop, not an industry price or a legal standard.

Why these are free
Short version: we already wrote them, and a shop that can measure its own numbers is a better shop to talk to.
They run in your browser
There is no server call in any of these pages. The math runs in JavaScript on your device, which is why there is nothing to log into and no way for us to see what you typed. Turn the Wi-Fi off after the page loads and they still work.
They are the real engines
The cut optimizer is a trimmed version of the packing engine inside PeelBoard's Cut Planner — same eighth-inch geometry, same guillotine cut sequence. The free page leaves out the remnant library and inventory deduction, because those need your shop's data.
No numbers are invented
The VLT tool reads its limits from the same dated state law data behind our 51 reference pages, and says No limit stated where a statute states none. The pricing tool ships editable starting points and labels them as such.
Questions
Do I need an account to use these tools?
No. There is no sign-up, no email wall and no usage limit. Every calculator on this page runs locally in your browser; the only thing an account changes is whether the work gets saved into a job, a quote and your film inventory inside PeelBoard.
Is my data sent anywhere?
The numbers you type are not. The pricing calculator remembers your inputs in your own browser's local storage so the page is still filled in tomorrow, and that copy never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data clears it.
Can I use these on my phone in the bay?
Yes — each page is built for a phone first, and the cut optimizer's layout drawing and cut list both scroll sideways on a narrow screen rather than squashing. The cut list also has a print button if you would rather tape it to the bench.
Can I link to these from my own shop site?
Please do. Link to the pages rather than copying them so your customers get the current state law data and the current math. If something here is wrong or you want a tool we have not built, email admin@getpeelboard.com.
