Flat glass and architectural film
Flat glass and window film installer software
A real Lead to Consultation to Proposal to Install pipeline, per-window quantities on the proposal, and a Cut Planner that optimises the roll and tracks the remnants.
Free plan forever. 14 days of Business on every new shop, no card.

Lead → Consultation → Proposal → Install
Architectural film does not sell like a car. Somebody calls about glare in a west-facing conference room, you go look, you measure, you propose, and weeks later you install. PeelBoard has that pipeline as an actual pipeline: Lead, Consultation, Proposal, Install, with the job moving through the stages instead of living in your inbox.
Proposals carry window quantity per row, so twelve identical storefront panes are one line with a quantity rather than twelve copied lines or a number you did in your head. The price freezes when the proposal is sent, the customer e-signs on acceptance, and a deposit can be taken in the same flow through Stripe or Square hosted checkout — which is how a commercial job gets committed to before you order 300 feet of film.
The Cut Planner
This is the flat-glass tool nobody else pairs with a full inventory system. The Cut Planner optimises your cuts across the roll widths you actually stock, shows the waste, tracks the remnants, and marks the used film off the roll when you are done. Fewer offcuts on the floor, and an honest number for what a job really consumed.
It sits on top of roll inventory tracked per SKU by the foot, with low-film alerts and reorder lists, plus a film forecast. Film insights turn all of it into cost per week, days of film left and true margins after film and overhead rather than before them.

Commercial and residential in the same board
A residential sunroom and a nine-storey office retrofit are the same shape of work at different scales, and both fit. Consultations get scheduled like any other job, with the site address collected up front for mobile work. Photos and condition notes document glass that was already scratched. Waivers are e-signed, warranties are recorded, and Start and Complete stamps give you real time-on-the-job numbers against what you quoted — the only way to price the next multi-day install properly.
- Per-window quantities on proposals and invoices
- Multi-installer assignment across a multi-day install
- Deposits, progress payments, tips, refunds, receipts and invoice PDFs
- Payment links by text, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay (Cash App and Afterpay on Square)
- 0% platform markup on card payments on every paid plan
Getting found by the building manager
Business includes a hosted shop website — pick the look, load the portfolio, turn on the before-and-after slider, let your synced Google reviews sit under it, and point your own domain at it with SSL provisioned for you. Lead forms are embeddable, take hidden fields and URL prefill, and track their source, so you can tell the commercial enquiries from the residential ones.
Automated texts fire on job events and the Google review request sends itself on completion. The quote follow-up automation matters more here than anywhere: a commercial proposal that goes quiet for three weeks is normal, and something should be chasing it.
Numbers for a bid-driven business
Quote win rate is booked divided by sent — the number that actually matters when you are bidding commercial work — with no invented "lost" column to flatter it. Time on the job comes from real Start and Complete taps against what you quoted. True margins land after film and overhead. Opt in and benchmark against other PeelBoard shops, and a weekly brief arrives every Monday. Team access comes with 5 seats on Business and a "Prices and money" switch that hides every dollar amount from the Installer role.
If you do auto film too
Most flat-glass installers came from automotive, or still do both. Each trade keeps its own first-class price book: window tint, PPF, ceramic coating, detailing, vinyl wrap. Team roles are built in, with a "Prices and money" switch that hides every dollar amount from the Installer role.
Two of the seven products we compare against sell a standalone flat-glass cut optimiser; the seventeen-row comparison shows exactly who does what, sourced to each company’s own pages.

Fair questions, straight answers.
How much does flat glass software cost?
Free to start and free forever for quotes, jobs, customers, the schedule, the price book and manual invoices. Pro is $49 a month for 0% platform markup on card payments, the sales pipeline, unlimited lead forms, full reporting and text templates. Business is $99 a month for the marketing suite, online booking, a hosted shop website, team access with 5 seats included and 500 texts a month. Enterprise is custom.
Is there a free trial?
No card, and nothing to cancel. Every new shop gets 14 days of the Business plan with every feature unlocked. When the trial ends the account drops to the Free plan and keeps its data — you are never charged silently.
Can I import my customers?
One import pulls your customer list out of Tint Wiz, Square or Goldie and skips anyone you already have, so running it twice is safe. Your old data stays where it is; nothing is deleted over there.
What does texting cost?
Business includes 500 texts a month, and the allowance resets on your billing cycle rather than the first of the month. Another 500 texts is $10.
Does the Cut Planner handle remnants?
Yes. The Cut Planner optimises cuts across your roll widths, shows the waste, tracks remnants and marks the used film off the roll, on top of roll inventory tracked per SKU by the foot with low-film alerts and reorder lists.
