PeelBoard vs Jobber

Seventeen rows, two columns, every cell taken from Jobber’s own public pricing and feature pages. No disparagement, no invented gaps — where they have something we do not, it says so.

Competitor information comes from each company’s own public pricing and feature pages, checked on September 13, 2026. Plans and features change; if something here is out of date, email admin@getpeelboard.com and we’ll fix it.

Who each one is for

Jobber is built for home-service businesses — lawn care, cleaning, HVAC and the like — and is deliberately generic. PeelBoard is built for tint, PPF, ceramic coating, detailing, vinyl wrap and flat-glass shops, with a price book per trade, film inventory by the foot and a flat-glass Cut Planner.

Where they actually differ

Jobber is a good product and it is honest about what it is: a general field-service platform. It has real customer referrals in Client Hub, a "Show Pricing" permission that hides prices per user, recurring jobs with automatic payments and a free website builder.

What it does not have is your trade. There is no tint film-tier and vehicle-class price book, no PPF coverage package, no per-window flat-glass schedule, no film inventory by the foot (inventory comes from a third-party marketplace app), no cut optimiser and no named import from Tint Wiz, Square or Goldie. Seats are the other thing: one user on Core, Connect and Grow, then $29 a month each. Five people on Grow is $315 a month; PeelBoard Business is $99 with unlimited seats.

What each one costs

PeelBoard

$99/mo

PeelBoard Business is $99/mo with unlimited seats, 500 texts a month ($10 per 500 after), a hosted shop website and the whole marketing suite. Free is $0 and Pro is $49/mo. Every new shop gets 14 days of Business free, with no credit card.

Jobber

$49–499+/mo

Jobber is $49/mo Core, $139/mo Connect and $199/mo Grow, each with one user, plus a $499/mo Plus tier with five. Extra users are +$29/mo each on every plan. Annual commitments are lower.

Moving your customers over

Be careful with anyone who promises a one-click migration from every system on earth. PeelBoard has named imports for Tint Wiz, Square and Goldie, which skip anyone you already have so re-running them is safe. Jobber is not one of them. If that is where you are coming from, email admin@getpeelboard.com and we will tell you honestly what can and cannot come across rather than finding out after you have cancelled.

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is PeelBoard cheaper than Jobber?

For a crew, usually. Jobber is $49 Core, $139 Connect and $199 Grow with one user each, plus $29 a month per extra user, or $499 for the five-seat Plus tier. PeelBoard Business is $99 a month with unlimited seats.

Can I import from Jobber?

Not by name. PeelBoard imports from Tint Wiz, Square and Goldie by name. Jobber’s own import is generic CSV, TSV and PSV plus a QuickBooks sync.

Does PeelBoard do anything Jobber cannot for a film shop?

The trade-specific parts: a price book per trade, PPF film tracked by coverage and vehicle size, film rolls counted by the foot with low-film alerts, a flat-glass Cut Planner, per-window quantities on proposals, unlimited ad creative, and margins after film and overhead with opt-in cross-shop benchmarks.

Can I hide prices from my installers, like Jobber’s Show Pricing?

Yes. In team access, turn the "Prices and money" switch off for the Installer role and every dollar amount disappears, along with Quotes, Invoices, Price Book and Reports. Notifications follow access. Jobber has a comparable per-user Show Pricing permission and the comparison table says so.
