PeelBoard vs Tint Wiz

Seventeen rows, two columns, every cell taken from Tint Wiz’s own public pricing and feature pages. No disparagement, no invented gaps — where they have something we do not, it says so.

Competitor information comes from each company’s own public pricing and feature pages, checked on September 13, 2026. Plans and features change; if something here is out of date, email admin@getpeelboard.com and we’ll fix it.

Who each one is for

Tint Wiz is built for window film shops and markets tint, PPF, ceramic coating, wrap and flat glass through one shared CRM and proposal system. PeelBoard is built for tint, PPF, ceramic, detailing, wrap and flat-glass shops with a separate first-class price book for each trade, so a PPF coverage package and a flat-glass window schedule are not the same form with different labels.

Where they actually differ

The two products overlap more than any other pair on this list: both are film-shop software written for film shops. Where they separate is what happens after the proposal. Tint Wiz sells a flat-glass cut optimiser and film inventory, and its proposals carry priced good/better/best options — all real. PeelBoard adds the parts a shop otherwise buys separately: a 0% platform markup on card payments, a hosted shop website on your own domain, unlimited ad creative, PPF film tracked by coverage and vehicle size, and margins that come out after film and overhead.

Price is the other difference. Tint Wiz is $150 a month with unlimited users; PeelBoard Business is $99 a month with unlimited seats, so a large crew costs the same as a small one.

Import from Tint Wiz

Tint Wiz is a named import, not a CSV wrestle. One run pulls your customer list straight across and skips anyone you already have, so running it twice is safe. Square and Goldie work the same way. Your Tint Wiz account is untouched — nothing is deleted over there, so you can keep it open while you set your price book up.

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is PeelBoard cheaper than Tint Wiz?

PeelBoard Business is $99 a month with unlimited seats. Tint Wiz is a flat $150 a month with unlimited users, on its own published pricing. PeelBoard also has a $0 Free plan and a $49 Pro plan, and takes a 0% platform markup on card payments on paid plans.

Can I import my customers from Tint Wiz?

Yes. Tint Wiz is a named import: one run pulls your customer list across and skips anyone you already have, so re-running it is safe. Square and Goldie import the same way. Your Tint Wiz data stays where it is and nothing is deleted over there.

Does PeelBoard have a cut planner like Tint Wiz’s cut optimizer?

Yes, for flat glass. The Cut Planner optimises cuts, shows the waste, tracks remnants and marks the used film off the roll. PeelBoard also tracks PPF film by coverage and vehicle size and produces a film forecast, which we did not find on Tint Wiz’s pages.
