Paint protection film
PPF shop software for paint protection film work
Coverage packages instead of guesswork, proposals customers approve and pay on their phone, and PPF film that deducts itself by coverage and vehicle size when the job is done.

PPF pricing that matches how you actually sell it
Paint protection film is sold by zone-based coverage packages — partial front, full front, track pack, full body, plus the pieces people add on — and the price moves with the vehicle. PeelBoard’s price book is built for that, so a PPF quote is picking a coverage package and a vehicle, not doing arithmetic in a text thread.
Put two or three coverage options on one proposal, each at its own price, and let the customer choose up instead of asking you to re-quote. The price freezes when the proposal is sent. They approve, pick a time and pay the deposit in one flow through Stripe or Square hosted checkout, and the job lands on your calendar with its line items and installer attached.
Film tracked by coverage and vehicle size
This is the row nobody else fills in. PeelBoard tracks PPF film by coverage and vehicle size and deducts it from the roll when the job is completed, so your on-hand footage is a number rather than a feeling. Rolls sit in the same inventory as your tint film, tracked per SKU by the foot, with low-film alerts and reorder lists.
Then film insights turn usage into cost per week, days of film left and a forecast, and your margins come out after film and overhead rather than before them. If you quote a full front at the same price you did two price increases ago, the margin report is where you find out.
One clarification, because it matters: the Cut Planner is for flat glass — it optimises architectural cuts, tracks remnants and marks used film off the roll. PPF is handled by coverage-and-vehicle-size tracking, not by the Cut Planner.

The install day, documented
Photos and condition notes ride along with the job, which is exactly what you want on a car that arrived with rock chips already in the bumper. Waivers are e-signed, warranties are attached, and Start and Complete stamps turn into real time-on-the-job reporting averaged by vehicle type and package — useful when you are deciding whether a full front is really a six-hour job.
- Multi-installer assignment, estimated duration, reschedule from the job in two taps
- Day, week, month and list calendar, published to your Apple or Google Calendar
- Photos, condition notes, e-signed waivers and warranty records per job
- Deposits, partial payments, tips, refunds, receipts, invoice PDFs and payment links by text
- 0% platform markup on card payments on every paid plan
Keeping the schedule full
Automated texts fire on job events — booked, reminder, on my way, complete — and the Google review request sends itself when you mark the job done, then syncs back onto your shop website. Business includes a hosted shop website with a portfolio and a before-and-after slider, which is the single best sales tool a PPF shop has, plus your own domain on auto-provisioned SSL. Ad Studio builds unlimited branded social ads off your real price book, and a multi-step quote follow-up automation keeps the $3,000 full-body quotes from going quiet.
Installers see the work, not the money
Team access gives you Owner, Admin and Installer roles, with per-feature access per role and per person. Flip the "Prices and money" switch off for the Installer role and every dollar amount disappears — the job page shows the vehicle, the coverage and the schedule, not the numbers — along with Quotes, Invoices, Price Book and Reports. Notifications follow the same rules, so an installer never gets a lead or payment alert. Business includes 5 seats.
One system for a shop that does more than PPF
Most PPF shops also tint, and plenty also coat and detail. Every trade gets its own first-class price book here: tint, ceramic coating, detailing, vinyl wrap and flat glass. One login, one calendar, one set of numbers.
Coming off another system? One import pulls your customers out of Tint Wiz, Square or Goldie and skips duplicates. See the seventeen-row comparison against seven products if you want the receipts.

Fair questions, straight answers.
How much does PPF shop software cost?
Free to start and free forever for quotes, jobs, customers, the schedule, the price book and manual invoices. Pro is $49 a month for 0% platform markup on card payments, the sales pipeline, unlimited lead forms, full reporting and text templates. Business is $99 a month for the marketing suite, online booking, a hosted shop website, team access with 5 seats included and 500 texts a month. Enterprise is custom.
Is there a free trial?
No card, and nothing to cancel. Every new shop gets 14 days of the Business plan with every feature unlocked. When the trial ends the account drops to the Free plan and keeps its data — you are never charged silently.
Can I import my customers from another system?
One import pulls your customer list out of Tint Wiz, Square or Goldie and skips anyone you already have, so running it twice is safe. Your old data stays where it is; nothing is deleted over there.
What does texting cost?
Business includes 500 texts a month, and the allowance resets on your billing cycle rather than the first of the month. Another 500 texts is $10.
Does it actually track PPF film, or just parts?
It tracks film. PPF is tracked by coverage and vehicle size and deducted from the roll when the job completes, on top of roll inventory per SKU by the foot with low-film alerts, reorder lists and a film forecast. The Cut Planner is a separate flat-glass tool, not the PPF tracker.
